The Business Startups of Today

According to a Stanford University study, the entire curriculum needs to shift. Not just its safety lessons, but inclusivity to show kids this world. Now, imagine my shock when I heard the title— The Business Startups of Today. I only had a few drinks, so this whole thing might not come as much of a shock. As a Stanford alum, learning a business mindset is as ingrained as learning to speak French. But I wanted to share with you the idea. If you were a Stanford grad, wouldn't it make a lot more sense to emigrate early to Silicon Valley? That certainly gives us the experience of opening up a little bit of the playbook. Learning this way won't be like pulling over and asking for bar-room deals, it'll be like working under mentors who actually perform some proactive workforce training to make sure they make the biggest impact. You're already serving twice as much as any MBA student, and that's not even accounting for the hours. Focus on making the team instead of just meeting the highest level leaders. The change isn't coming by doing it in a flash, it's coming over time. A year from now, you're already in the shadows. You're just stepping into a company you already own, fighting for the same roles you're already taking advantage of.
